Gluten-Free Bread {Keto Bread}


If you are like me and you have osteoarthritis, you know that gluten is your worst enemy.

Having eat two slices of bread this weekend, I felt pretty quickly the negative effects that gluten makes on me. My knees are not happy at all.

So I decided to try this recipe and I can tell you that it is a success!

I tried several recipes before I found this one. The secret of this recipe is precisely the almond flour !!

In addition to being gluten-free, this bread is low carb !! Humm that my toast with almond butter was good;)

Below, here is the recipe and enjoy !!



1 1/2 Cup Almond Flour 
6 Large eggs
3 tsp Baking powder
1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar (It’s ok if you don’t have)
1 pinch  of himalayan salt

Preheat oven to 375.
Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
Add Cream of Tartar to the whites and beat until soft peaks are achieved.
In a food processor combine the egg yolks, butter, almond flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until combined.
Add 1/3 of the beaten egg whites to the almond flour mixture and process until mixed.
Add the remaining 2/3 of the egg whites and gently process until fully incorporated.
Pour mixture into a buttered 8×4 loaf pan.
Bake for 30 minutes.
1 loaf makes 20 slices.
